The Ordinary AHA 30%+ BHA 2% Peeling Solution 30ml

AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is an exfoliating facial designed to improve the appearance of skin texture, prevent pore congestion and target uneven skin tone. This high-strength exfoliating serum combines 5 exfoliating acids, at a total of 32%, to offer high-strength exfoliation both on skin’s surface and within pores. It also features Hyaluronic Acid, Pro-Vitamin B5, Black Carrot Extract and Tasmanian Pepperberry (a known anti-irritant). When compared to a professional acid peel1, AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution offers comparable results while respecting the skin's’ barrier and without the downtime.

pH of the Formulation: 3.50 - 3.70

Glycolic Acid (Primary AHA): Since the pKa of Glycolic Acid is 3.83, we carefully calibrated the pH of this formulation to approximately 3.50-3.70 to achieve an optimal balance between salt and acidity of the molecules.

Important Notes: This formulation contains a high concentration of free acids and is only suitable for experienced users of acid exfoliation. It should not be used on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin.

How to Use:

-Use once or twice a week, ideally in the evening, on thoroughly clean, dry skin. Do not use on wet skin. 

-Apply evenly across the face and neck using fingertips. Do not use on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin. 

-Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes both during application and rinse off. 

-Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. 

-Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. 

-Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration. 

-If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician. 

-Use only as directed on unbroken skin. 

-Patch testing prior to use is advised. 

-Keep out of reach of children.

Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. 

Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Application Tips

AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution can be applied to facial skin stained with hair dye, such as after eyebrow tinting or around the hairline after hair colouring, to help fade staining.
